Henrys brother David joined 4th Battalion Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers, Special Reservists on the 17th October 1913 served as Private 3126, however he was discharged having only served 57 days on the 12th December 1913 due to Para 154 (iii) (c) Special Reserve Regulations ( not being likely to become an efficient Special Reservist )

Henry received the British War Medal, Victory Medal and 1914 Star

He is Remembered at La Ferte-Sous-Jouarre Memorial, France.
