Description

Ulster Echo 1914 - Details of Miss Dorothy Evan's trial at the Belfast Assizes and associated disturbances. The well-known Suffragette was standing trial, charged with possession of materials for making explosives with intent to cause serious injury. Mrs Metge, a Lisburn-based Suffragette was arrested after smashing two glass panels in the door, having been denied entry to the court.
