Thomas joined the Royal Irish Fusiliers.

He was posted as part of the British Expeditionary Force.

Thomas O'Shea was a Private in the 7th/8th Battalion Royal Irish Fusiliers when he was Killed In Action on the 10th of August 1917, aged 29 years, in France.

Private O'Shea, Royal Irish Fusiliers, officially reported killed in action on the 10th inst, was the second son of Mrs O'Shea 26 Palmer Street, Belfast.
