Henry Bell, son of William and Henrietta Bell, lived at 37 Lawnbrook Avenue. Shankill Road, with his wife Emily and three children.

Henry had married Emily Bell, Nee Clarke, on the 23rd February 1907 and they went on to have three children, Henrietta born 8th of May 1909, Henry born 2nd of September 1911, and Violet born 8th of February 1914

.

Henry joined the Royal Irish Rifles.

He was posted as part of the Mediterranean Expeditionary Force on the 23rd of July 1915.

Henry Bell was Acting Sergeant in 2nd Battalion Royal Irish Rifles when he was Killed on the 24th March 1918 aged 32 years
