Thomas Morrow signed the Ulster Covenant on the 28th of September 1912, Ulster Day

Thomas joined the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers.

He was posted as part of the British Expeditionary Force to France on the 27th December 1914.

Thomas was a Private in D Company 7th Battalion Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers when he was Killed on the 8th August 1917 aged 25 years

.

A local newspaper states.

Private T Morrow Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers, who was posted as missing on August 8, 1917, is now officially presumed killed on that date or since. His widow resides at 30 Wilton Street, Belfast. His brother, James Morrow, R.I.R, was killed on May 9 1918. They are sons of Mr John Morrow, 9 Convention Street, Belfast
