George joined the Royal Inniskilling Fusliers..

He was posted as part of the British Expeditionary Force to France on the 18th March 1915.

George was a Private in 2nd Battalion Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers when he was Presumed Killed In Action on the 16th May 1915 aged 21 years

George Nuncupative Will shows documents from The Secretary, War Office, Park Buildings, St James Park, London, S.W, asking for information relating to a statement George made concerning his Soldiers Effects.

The first signed and dated the 14th December 1916 asks his mother Agnes three questions around this issue, each of which she answered in writing, and can be read within his profile.

The second letter dated the 1st January 1917 holds the following statement from his sister He made the statement on 15th December 1914. He said that anything he left if killed would go to his mother. There were present myself and my mother. Signed Sarah Davidson, signed in my presence this 3rd Jan 1917 J V Browne Rector of St Marys, St Marys vicarage, Belfast.
