He was posted as part of the Mediterranean Expeditionary Force on the 17th March 1915.

George was a Private in 1st Battalion Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers when he was Killed In Action on the 13th June 1915 aged 30 years

Mrs Sarah Cully, 105 Riga Street, Belfast, has been notified of the death of her son, Private George Cully, 2nd Battalion Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers. The deceased was serving with his battalion in France when he was mortally wounded

Private George Cully, 2nd Battalion Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers, was killed in action in France on the 13th inst, was a son of Mrs Cully, 105 Riga Street, Belfast

An oddity within this profile is that there are three different dates of death for this man, the first is the 13th June 1915, and this is given by the CWGC, the second is the 23rd May 1915, given within the British Army Roll of Individuals Entitled to the Victory Medal and British War Medal Granted Under Army Orders 301 and 266 of 1919, and thirdly the 22nd May 1915 which is given within the Ireland Memorial Records 1914-1918.
