BELFAST KILLED AND WOUNDED.

Mrs McAllister, 61 Berlin Street, Belfast, has been advised that her nephew, Private David Anderson, 5th Battalion Royal Irish Fusiliers, died of wounds received in action on August 10 at the Dardanelles. Prior to enlisting deceased was employed at Messrs J Reynolds. Two other brothers are serving their country, John on the Navy, and Robert is in hospital at Aberdeen, suffering from wounds received in action while serving with the 2nd Battalion Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers. Mrs McAllister has also two sons on the Army, one of whom, Alexander, who also belongs to the Inniskilling Fusiliers, was wounded, and is at present in hospital at Chester, and the other, George, is serving with the 14th Battalion R.I.R. (Y.C.V)

David's Soldiers Effects were left to his father.

Dependant Pension Application Forms show his father as claimant. His address at time of applying is given as 24 Hopewell Street, Shankill, Belfast.

David received the British War Medal, Victory Medal and 1915 Star.

He is Remembered at Helles Memorial, Gallipoli, Turkey.
