He was posted as part of the Mediterranean Expeditionary Force on the 10th July 1915.

Nathaniel was a Rifleman in 6th Battalion Royal Irish Rifles when he was Killed In Action on the 10th August 1915 aged 20 years.

Prior to enlisting he was employed by Messrs R.J Hall, Old Lodge Road. His mother, who resides at 107 Argyle Street, Belfast, would be grateful to anyone who could inform her of his whereabouts
