Andrew joined the Canadian Infantry on the 8th November 1915 at Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

As part of the 90th Overseas Battalion he set off from Halifax on May 31st 1916, arriving in Liverpool on June 8th 1916.

Andrew transferred to the 11th Battalion on the 19th July 1916, before transferring yet again into the 8th Battalion on the 27th August 1916.

Having been wounded, receiving a G.S.W, Gun Shot Wound, to his abdomen, Andrew was taken to No 9 Casualty Clearing Station.

Andrew was a Private in 8th Battalion Canadian Infantry when he Died Of Wounds on the 28th September 1916 aged 24 years

Andrew has died of wounds, and William was previously reported missing at the Dardanelles, but if now officially presumed to have been killed. Their mother resides at 2 Bracken Street, Belfast.
