Joseph joined the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers.

He was posted as part of the Mediterranean Expeditionary Force on the 28th July 1915.

Joseph was a Private in 1st Battalion Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers when he was Killed In Action on the 21st of August 1915 aged 19 years.

His anxious parents, who reside at 6 Disraeli Street, Belfast, would be pleased to hear from anyone who may know of his whereabouts
