Henry Connor, son of David and Elizabeth Connor, lived at 92 Snugville Street, Shankill Road, Belfast

Henry joined the Canadian Infantry at Valcartier for the Duration of War on the 19th September 1914.

He was posted as part of the Canadian Expeditionary Force to France on the 9th February 1915.

Henry was a Private in the 7th Battalion Canadian Infantry when he was Killed In Action on the 24th April 1915 aged 23 years

A local newspaper article concerning his brother states.

Gunner John Connor, Royal Filed Artillery, has been killed in action. His brother Harry made the ultimate sacrifice in April, 1915. He was a son of Mr David Connor, 92 Snugville Street, Belfast

His Medical Records show that he had been admitted to Number 1 General Hospital on the 27th January 1915 due to Influenza also, but was discharged 8 days later. They also show a W Connor as his Next Of Kin and his address as 1823, 30th Avenue, E. Vancouver, B.C.
