Newtownards Chronicle 1914 - Sketch entitled 'The Neglected Worm', with noted apologies to the Westminster Gazette. The image depicts Lloyd Georde as a bird, feeding his hungry chicks of the Navy, the Civil Service Army, Education and National Health. The image also features an inset on a worm representing tax on foreign goods. The caption reads: ' As the 'Westminster Gazette's' Cartoon of May 11th, entitled 'A Hungry Brood' does not show how Mr. Lloyd George is to feed his hungry brood, we take the liberty of adding an inset picture which will solve the question'.
